At Great Lakes Pet Cremation, we are committed to providing compassionate and affordable cremation services to families in their time of need. We believe that every family deserves to say goodbye to their loved one in a dignified manner, and we strive to make that possible.

Great Lakes Pet Cremation was started as a local family owned business in 2026. Matt and Jaimie Pavley reside in Oregon, Ohio and have 2 children, Colton and Parker, who are very passionate about animals.

  Matt is currently a licensed funeral director in the state of Ohio, with over 16 years of experience in funeral directing and family care and over 10 years of experience in Pet Cremation. He is a graduate of Clay High School, Kent State University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

   Jaimie has over10 years of experience and a background in specialized clinical healthcare. She has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families through some of life's most vulnerable moments. Her compassionate attention to detail and understanding of grief and loss help provide families with comfort, dignity and reassurance  during the loss of a beloved pet.  Having recently experienced the losses of our family Goldendoodles, they wanted to develop a business model that makes the loss of your companion a meaningful experience.

Great Lakes Pet Cremation offers a variety of affordable cremation options. We also offer urns, keepsakes, and other memorialization options to honor and remember your loved one. We walk you through the process with compassion and relatability. Our transportation services are flexible and timely.
